The entrance exam for AIIMS was considered to be very difficult. However there has been a key change for admissions to AIIMS institutes. Since 2020, the separate AIIMS entrance exam has been discontinued. Securing a seat in MBBS programs at AIIMS institutes (Delhi, Jodhpur, Bhopal, Patna, Raipur, Rishikesh, Nagpur) is now based on the NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) score.
While AIIMS previous year papers may not perfectly match the NEET 2024 exam format, they are still useful for preparation. AIIMS questions tend to be moderate to difficult. To excel in NEET, students must focus equally on Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from both class 11 and 12.
